From Founding Photographer, Jenn Lindberg:
I founded Beaubaby in response to my wedding clients who were starting familes and who were searching and searching for images that were taken in the same photojournalistic, magazine style that I brought to their weddings.
My career began with documenting the lives of three amazing teenagers--Misty, Joanna and Rebecca--as they courageously placed their babies for open adoption. Marie Claire magazine published my photos and article in 1997, and from there, my freelance magazine career was launched.
After photographing various projects, including AIDS orphans in Africa and the mentally retarded on Death Row, and after working as a staff newspaper photographer in Boston, I began photographing weddings and fell in love with the whole process. I have been photographing weddings for 7 years (www.jenniferlindbergweddings.com) and in 2007, Beaubaby was born.
Beaubaby is now a small, dedicated group of talented photographers whose passion is photographing babies, births, kids and families. We help busy, overscheduled parents to "press the pause button" on their lives--making a legacy of images right in the comfort of their own homes. Our prints, leather and coffee table book, and gallery wraps are made to enjoy for generations to come.
Our photographers won't bring fake props or backdrops to your session; instead we'll capture your son's current obessesion with all things Spiderman, your daughter with her favorite stuffed animal, or the twins dancing around the living room in their fuzzy purple boas and pink tiaras. We'll also catch some of the other unscripted moments in between that make up the beautiful story of every family.

Scout is one of our all time favorite beaubaby models! She has been a model for “Beaubaby University”–our photo workshop for moms–and also modeled for one of our beaubaby photographer training programs. Now Scout has a new baby sister…another fun beauty for us to follow around and document. Meet Sofia! Courtney and I were fighting over who would get to photograph Zoe, and I won this round! Zoe charmed me with her funny faces, her animal binkies (how cool are those?), and her dance moves to “Yo Gabba Gabba.” What a fun beauty! ” Zoe has one of the coolest entrepreneur moms around; Karin is a co-founder of GradlaunchUSA.com, helping college kids to transition powerfully and passionately into their dream careers. Before we know it, Zoe will be next. Thanks to Karin and Dima for having me come out.

Last August we were able to follow Maya to her first day of Kindergarten! We started the photo essay before her alarm clock went off–it was still dark outside! Maya ate her waffle and was excited to use her new pink back pack. She was just a teensy bit late and entered class just as her fellow classmates were saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
I’m posting some of my favorite spreads from a coffee table book we designed of Maya’s first day. Kindergarten is starting again soon for 2009….
Chris is a lucky dad with 2–count ‘em, 2–beautiful daughters now! And those girls are lucky too, to have such a fun, genuine and loving Dad. Hooray for Dads everywhere!

When we first met Cate, she was sitting up in her pink chair, and decided it was nap time right in the middle of our photo shoot! Now, she is walking, and mom and dad called us back to catch that first step…
Avery and Chase, Chase and Avery. My friend who studies linguistics reminds me that soon these two will be sharing a language that only the two of them can understand. Side by side, brother and sister, from now on!

Every year is seems our Beaubaby moms are coming up with fun and unique ways to capture the holiday spirit. This past holiday season was no different. I got the chance to photograph families at the park, the lake and even downtown Austin.
Here is a little taste of a downtown holiday session I did last year. We went all over downtown from the Driskill, to the Four Seasons and we even ventured into South Austin to photograph in front of Amy’s Ice Cream and Hey Cupcake.
